Job summary

Mercy is seeking registered nurses to provide patient care using the nursing process and to coordinate care across departments. The role requires maintaining patient rights and confidentiality while upholding Mercy Service Standards.

Ideal candidates are graduates of accredited nursing programs with an active RN license in the appropriate state, plus Basic Life Support certification and any unit-specific credentials as required.

Qualifications

• Graduate of an accredited registered professional nursing program.
• Current RN license in the hiring state and/or compact licensure.
• Basic Life Support certification or course completed within 30 days of hire.
• One or more unit-specific certifications may be required.

Responsibilities

• Uses the nursing process to provide patient care and maintain accountability.
• Evaluates the overall effectiveness of care provided by other direct caregivers.
• Coordinates patient care in conjunction with other departments.
