Qualifications

• Graduate of an accredited School of Nursing.
• Current, active RN license in the hiring state.
• WCC or WOCN certification required.

Responsibilities

• Prescribe, delegate, coordinate, and oversee nursing care for wound/ostomy patients.
• Assess and monitor complex wounds.
• Develop and implement wound treatment plans.
• Identify and monitor signs of infection.
• Clean and manage wounds safely and effectively.
• Treat various wound types (surgical wounds, ulcers, decubitus ulcers, feeding tube sites, abscesses).
• Educate clinical staff on proper wound care practices.
