Job summary

Northeast Family Services is seeking licensed therapists for on-site outpatient work across five Massachusetts locations. The roles feature flexible scheduling, summer Fridays, and a mix of full-time salaried and hourly fee-for-service options.

You'll provide individual, couples, family, and group therapy, conduct intake assessments, and coordinate care with families and medical partners. W-2 employment includes benefits and professional support.

Qualifications

• Master's degree in Psychology, Counseling, Social Work, or related field.
• Independent Clinical License within two years.
• Massachusetts license a plus; U.S. work authorization.
• Ability to manage own schedule and work with teams.
• Evening/afternoon availability preferred.

Responsibilities

• Provide individual, couples, family, and/or group therapy.
• Conduct intake assessments and determine appropriate levels of care.
• Develop personalized treatment plans that create real change.
• Coordinate care with families, medical providers, and community partners.
• Maintain documentation in our EHR system.
• Participate in case consultations and team meetings.
• Provide crisis intervention and therapeutic support when necessary.

All clinicians are W-2 employees, offering full-time salaried roles or flexible hourly fee-for-service positions. Our full-time clinicians enjoy stable, guaranteed salary compensation even when clients cancel.

What You’ll Do

Who You Are

• Master's degree in Psychology, Counseling, Social Work, or a related field (required).
• Independent Clinical License within two years.
• Current license in Massachusetts is a plus.
• Excellent time-management skills with ability to work independently and as part of a team.
• Ability to manage one's own schedule with client outreach.
• Afternoon and evening availability is a plus.
• Able to work in one of our five office locations: North Andover, Dorchester, Fall River, Worcester, West Springfield.
• Authorized to work in the U.S.; we cannot sponsor visas.
• Access to a laptop or desktop and high-speed secure internet for FFS positions.
• Access to high-speed secure internet required for Full Time positions.

Compensation

• Full-time Salary: $60,000–$70,000.
• Incentive Rate: $60 per hour over productivity.

Hourly Fee For Service

• $45/hour for MA level.
• $50–$55/hour for MA level with initial license or additional language capacity.
• $55–$60/hour for MA level with initial license, additional language capacity, or high level of experience.
• $65–$70/hour for independent license.

Incentive For On-site

• 50% in person over a 3-month span earns $750.
• 75% in person over a 3-month span earns $1,000.
• 90% and above in person over a 3-month span earns $1,250.
