Job summary

Northeast Family Services, based in Springfield, MA, is seeking NFS Outpatient Therapists who are ready to provide individual, couple, family, and group therapy. Enjoy flexible scheduling options from 5 to 30 hours per week with the ability to work at one of our five office locations.

The ideal candidate will hold a Master's degree in a related field, have great time-management skills, and be ready to help clients grow and thrive. We provide competitive hourly compensation and incentivize on-site work.

Qualifications

• Have a Master's degree in Psychology, Counseling, Social Work, or related field required.
• Will have Independent Clinical License within 2 years.
• Current license in the state of Massachusetts a plus.

Overview

Ready for a summer schedule that works for you? Summer Fun Fridays at Northeast Family Services! We close at 12:30pm every Friday from Memorial Day through Labor Day — giving our team more time to relax, recharge, and enjoy the summer sunshine!

NFS Outpatient Therapists work collaboratively with clients to help them access their core strengths to be their best selves and realize their full potential, utilizing a variety of approaches such as individual, couple, family, and group psychotherapy.

Make the schedule that works for you! Hourly Fee For Service anywhere from 5 to 30 hour week options.

What You’ll Do

• Provide individual, couples, family, and/or group therapy
• Conduct intake assessments and determine appropriate levels of care
• Develop personalized treatment plans that create real change
• Coordinate care with families, medical providers, and community partners
• Maintain documentation in our user-friendly EHR system
• Participate in case consultations and team meetings as needed
• Provide crisis intervention and therapeutic support when necessary

Who You Are

• Have a Master\'s degree in Psychology, Counseling, Social Work, or related field required
• Will have Independent Clinical License within 2 years
• Current license in the state of Massachusetts a plus
• Requires excellent time-management skills with ability to work independently and as part of a team
• Ability to manage one\'s own schedule with client outreach
• Afternoon and evening availability is a plus
• Able to work in one of our 5 office locations: North Andover, Dorchester, Fall River, Worcester, West Springfield
• Applicants must be authorized to work in the U.S. We are unable to sponsor or take over sponsorship of an employment visa at this time.
• Access to a laptop or CPS, high speed secure internet, and a phone required

Compensation and Scheduling

• W-2 employment: We hire W-2 employees only—no 1099 contractor arrangements
• Flexible schedules with full-time salaried roles or hourly fee-for-service positions
• Full-time clinicians enjoy stable, guaranteed salary compensation, even when clients cancel

Compensation

• Hourly Fee for Service: 45/hour MA Level; 50–55/hour MA level with initial license or additional language capacity; 55–60/hour with initial license and language capacity/experience; 65–70/hour for independent license

Incentives for On-site Work

• 50% in person over a 3 month span will earn $750
• 75% in person over a 3 month span will earn $1000
• 90% and above in person over a 3 month span $1250
