Job summary

Northeast Family Services is seeking devoted outpatient therapists to join our Massachusetts team. Work on-site at one of our five locations, delivering individual, couples, family, and group therapy with competitive compensation and strong support for licensure and professional growth.

You’ll develop personalized treatment plans, coordinate with families and providers, and use our user-friendly EHR system to document care.

Qualifications

• Master’s degree in Psychology, Counseling, Social Work, or related field.
• Independent Clinical License expected within 2 years.
• Massachusetts license a plus.
• Excellent time-management and ability to work independently and as part of a team.
• Must provide services in-office at Massachusetts locations.

Responsibilities

• Provide individual, couples, family, and/or group therapy.
• Develop personalized treatment plans for real change.
• Coordinate care with families, medical providers, and community partners.
• Maintain documentation in the EHR system.
• Participate in case consultations and team meetings.
• Provide crisis intervention and therapeutic support when necessary.

All clinicians are W-2 employees, offering either full-time salaried roles or flexible hourly fee-for-service positions. Our full-time clinicians enjoy stable, guaranteed salary compensation, even when clients cancel—as we believe your time and expertise should be valued.

What You’ll Do

Who You Are

• Have your Master's degree in Psychology, Counseling, Social Work, or related field required
• Will have your Independent Clinical License within 2 years
• Current license in the state of Massachusetts a plus
• Requires excellent time-management skills with ability to work independently and as part of a team
• Comfortable managing your schedule and caseload
• Afternoon and evening availability is a plus!
• Must be able to provide services in-office. Massachusetts office locations: North Andover, Dorchester, Fall River, Worcester, West Springfield
• Applicants must be authorized to work in the U.S. We are unable to sponsor or take over sponsorship of an employment visa at this time.
• Access to a laptop or CPS, high speed secure internet, and a phone required for FFS positions
• Access to high speed secure internet required for Full Time positions

Compensation

Full Time Salary: $60,000 - $70,000

Incentive Rate $60 / hour over productivity!

Hourly Fee For Service

• 45/hour for MA Level
• $50-$55/hour MA level with initial license or additional language capacity
• $55-$60/hour with initial license and additional language capacity / high level of experience
• $65-$70/hour for independent license

Incentive For On-site

• 50% in person over a 3 month span will earn $750
• 75% in person over a 3 month span will earn $1000
• 90% and above in person over a 3 month span $1250
