Job summary

Northeast Family Services is seeking Outpatient Therapists to work on-site at one of our five Massachusetts locations. We offer flexible scheduling with 5–30 hour weeks, W-2 employment, and full-time salaried roles or flexible hourly fee-for-service positions.

Earn $45–$70/hour depending on licensure and language capacity. Join our team to provide individual, couples, family, and group therapy, with supervision, professional development, free CEUs, and licensure assistance.

Qualifications

• Have a Master’s degree in Psychology, Counseling, Social Work, or related field required.
• Will have Independent Clinical License within 2 years.
• Current license in the state of Massachusetts a plus.
• Requires excellent time-management skills with ability to work independently and as part of a team.
• Ability to manage one’s own schedule with client outreach.
• Afternoon and evening availability is a plus!
• Able to work in one of our 5 office locations: North Andover, Dorchester, Fall River, Worcester, West Springfield.
• Applicants must be authorized to work in the U.S. We are unable to sponsor or take over sponsorship of an employment visa at this time.
• Access to a laptop or CPS, high speed secure internet, and a phone required

Responsibilities

• Provide individual, couples, family, and/or group therapy
• Conduct intake assessments and determine appropriate levels of care
• Develop personalized treatment plans that create real change
• Coordinate care with families, medical providers, and community partners
• Maintain documentation in our user-friendly EHR system
• Participate in case consultations and team meetings as needed
• Provide crisis intervention and therapeutic support when necessary

Premiums paid for:

• Non-English language capacity
• Experience
• Select clinical specialties

Compensation:

Hourly Fee for Service:

• 45/hour for MA Level
• $50-$55/hour MA level with initial license or additional language capacity
• $55-$60/hour with initial license and additional language capacity / high level of experience
• $65-$70/hour for independent license

Incentive for on-site:

• 50% in person over a 3 month span will earn $750
• 75% in person over a 3 month span will earn $1000
• 90% and above in person over a 3 month span $1250
