Qualifications

• MINIMUM EDUCATION REQUIRED: High School Diploma or GED.

• Understanding of Medical Terminology and clinical documentation which must be demonstrated through prior education or work history.

Responsibilities

• Provides indirect care in the outpatient/surgery area under the supervision of an RN.
• Communicates with physicians, RN's, managers and co-workers related to scheduling needs, status and changes.
• Maintains regulatory body requirements, policies and procedures and participates in performance improvement activities.
