Job summary

Rome Health is seeking a Scheduler to join our medical center team in Utica. The candidate will handle clerical tasks to ensure accurate scheduling and patient appointments, while delivering compassionate, compliant service.

The role requires basic computer and math skills, a high school diploma or GED, and willingness to learn Paragon, patient registration, and resource scheduling. BLS and de-escalation training are a plus.

Qualifications

Responsibilities

Job Duties:

• Adheres to the compliance plan, policies and procedures
• Gives a quality level of service to patients
• Answers, screens and routes all outside calls to appropriate areas
• Will train to become fluent in paragon, patient registration and resource scheduling
• Covers reception for check in and check out when necessary
• Other duties as listed in the job description

The individual will need to have computer skills, math ability, a high school diploma GED. Medical terminology is a plus along with a BLS, de-escalation training and safe patient handling.
