Advocate Health’s Wake Forest Baptist Medical Center - Speech Pathology: Outpatient job requires a Master’s degree in Speech-Language Pathology and current SLP licensure with ASHA CCC. CFY experience is preferred.

This is a full-time outpatient role with a 40-hour workweek and standard 8am-5pm schedule. The successful candidate will evaluate and treat patients across all ages, educate families, and participate in staff training.

Qualifications

• Master's degree in Speech-Language Pathology from an accredited program.
• Minimum one year post CFY clinical experience, two years preferred.
• Current license in Speech-Language Pathology issued by the applicable state Board of Examiners for Speech and Language Pathologists and Audiologists.
• Certificate of Clinical Competence in Speech-Language Pathology (ASHA).
• Candidate must have SLP-CCC.

Responsibilities

• Performs comprehensive professional evaluation of patients of all ages referred for differential diagnosis of communicative or swallowing disorders.
• Provides counseling to patient and family regarding communication or swallowing deficits and treatment options.
• Plans and conducts treatment programs for patients with speech, language, voice and/or swallowing impairments with clear goals.
• Prepares and presents lectures and training for staff, students, and interns.
• Coordinates and prioritizes patient caseload to ensure timely services.
