Advocate Health Care’s Wake Forest Baptist Medical Center Speech Pathology department is hiring a licensed Speech-Language Pathologist for outpatient services. The role requires a Master's in Speech-Language Pathology, CFY experience, and current SLP licensure with CCC, with duties spanning evaluation, diagnosis, treatment planning, and family education.

Qualifications

• Master's degree in Speech-Language Pathology from an accredited program.
• Minimum one year post CFY clinical experience, two years preferred.
• Current license in Speech-Language Pathology issued by the applicable state board.
• CCCs (SLP-CCC) required.

Responsabilités

• Performs comprehensive professional evaluation of patients of all ages referred for differential diagnosis of communicative or swallowing disorders.
• Selects and administers evaluation instruments appropriate for patient age and developmental level.
• Provides counseling to patient and family regarding communication or swallowing deficits and treatment options.
• Plans and conducts treatment programs for speech, language, voice and swallowing impairments.
• Develops short- and long-term treatment goals and implements plans to achieve them.
