Job summary
Pacific Grove Behavioral Health Hospital in Riverside, CA is seeking a Director of Outpatient Services to lead PHP and IOP programs and drive clinical excellence, operational rigor, and growth. You will report to executive leadership and oversee day-to-day operations, ensuring high-quality patient care and outcomes.
The role requires a licensed clinician with 4+ years in behavioral health, including operations and management experience.
Qualifications
- Master's or Doctorate-level Licensed Clinician (e.g., LCSW, LMHC, LMFT, PsyD, PhD)
- Minimum of 4 years in behavioral healthcare, including 2+ years of operations and managerial experience
- Experience with PHP and IOP levels of care strongly preferred; experience with acute psychiatric hospital and/or residential SUD treatment providers is a plus
Responsibilities
- Oversee day-to-day operations for PHP and IOP services and supervise staff
- Achieve key business objectives: ADC, visits, revenue, EBITDA, patient retention and satisfaction
- Monitor KPIs and drive continuous improvement in operations and care delivery
- Lead business development and outreach to enhance admissions and brand awareness
- Coordinate group topics and sessions to balance clinician workload and patient needs
- Collaborate with leadership on growth initiatives and program development
