Job summary

Bryan Health in Lincoln, Nebraska is seeking a Scheduling Center Supervisor to oversee operations, staffing and coordination with patients, physicians, and departments to ensure timely scheduling and timely authorizations.

The role requires RN licensure, 3+ years acute care experience, and prior scheduling experience; BSN preferred. You will lead staff, monitor performance, and drive service excellence in a fast-paced hospital environment.

Qualifications

• Current Registered Nurse licensure from the State of Nebraska or approved compact state of residence as defined by the Nebraska Nurse Practice Act.
• Minimum of three (3) years acute care clinical experience in a hospital environment required.
• Prior medical procedure scheduling experience required.
• Bachelor of Science degree in nursing preferred.
• Prior experience managing personnel preferred.

Responsibilities

• Supervises Scheduling Center processes, including scheduling of procedures and managing of work queues.
• Ensures resources align with work volumes and coordinates PRN scheduling and phone coverage.
• Facilitates new employee orientation and staff training for department workflows.
• Tracks department workload and staff productivity and supports service recovery efforts.
• Coaches and trains staff on HIPAA compliance, customer service and safety policies.
