Responsibilities

• Welcomes patients, families, physicians and visitors to the Center in person or by phone.
• Pre-registration and registration of patients: enter insurance and demographic information into HIS system and produce registration and consent forms.
• Assembles patient charts, notifies patient of copay responsibility, and directs to the center.
• Works with clinical staff to understand procedure lengths, room availability, and needs of special supplies.
• All surgeries posted to the schedule daily; other duties could include payment log and verification of benefits.
