Responsibilities

• Provide safe, direct patient care using the nursing process in ambulatory settings.
• Provide clinical leadership and mentorship to staff.
• Serve as role model and provide patient education to patients and families.
• Assume relief charge duties when designated and follow shift supervisor guidance.
• Coordinate with other UH departments and clinics to plan patient care.
• Document medical history, chief complaints, and follow up on abnormal results.
• Administer medications and perform routine treatments.
• Assist with tests, procedures, and complex treatments as directed by physicians.
