Job summary

Jobtome is seeking a Registered Nurse to provide safe direct patient care in an ambulatory setting. The role includes clinical leadership, mentorship to staff, and relief charge duties under a night shift schedule.

You will ensure adherence to department policies and manage care across diverse age groups including neonate to geriatric. Responsibilities include assisting physicians with tests and procedures, triage and patient communication, maintaining medical records, and patient education.

Qualifications

• Essential: Program Graduate
• Nonessential: Bachelor’s Degree
• Essential: Nationally Accredited Nursing Graduate

Responsibilities

• Provide safe, direct patient care utilizing the nursing process in ambulatory setting.
• Provide clinical leadership and mentorship to staff.
• Assume relief charge duties when designated and follow shift supervisor guidance.
• Educate patients and families about preventive care and medical issues.
• Coordinate patient care with other UH departments and clinics.
• Administer medications and routine treatments.
• Assist with tests, procedures, and complex treatments.
• Document medical history, chief complaint, and lab results.
• Maintain equipment and stock supplies.
• Support triage and patient calls; manage reception/discharge areas.
