Job summary

Jobtome is seeking a compassionate Registered Nurse to provide direct patient care in an ambulatory setting. The RN will act as a clinical leader, mentor staff, and ensure adherence to nursing processes while educating patients and families about preventive care and treatments.

The role involves night shifts, a 0.90 FTE schedule, and collaboration with the Transfer Center and other departments to coordinate patient care and discharge planning.

Qualifications

• Program Graduate
• Bachelor's Degree
• Nationally Accredited Nursing Graduate
• RN license in NM or as allowed by reciprocal agreement by NM

Responsibilities

• PATIENT CARE: Provide safe, direct patient care using the nursing process in ambulatory settings.
• MENTOR: Provide clinical mentorship to staff and serve as a role model.
• RECORDS: Ensure patient medical records contain necessary information and document medical history or chief complaint.
• EMERGENCY: Assist with or institute emergency measures for sudden patient changes.
• EDUCATION: Provide education for patients and families about preventive care and prescribed treatments.
• COORDINATION: Coordinate patient care with other UH departments and clinics.
