Job summary

Jobtome is seeking an experienced Registered Nurse for our Transfer Center, nights shift, in Albuquerque, NM. Provide direct patient care, clinical leadership, and patient education in an ambulatory setting.

The role includes mentoring staff, assisting physicians with tests and procedures, triage, and coordinating care across departments. Must be NM-licensed, CPR/BLS certified, and bilingual in English/Spanish (additional native languages a plus); 3+ years of related experience preferred.

Qualifications

• RN license in NM or by reciprocal agreement
• CPR for Healthcare/BLS Provider or Professional Rescuers within 30 days
• Bilingual in English and Spanish (and other Native languages)
• Minimum 3 years of directly related nursing experience

Responsibilities

• Provide safe patient care using the nursing process in ambulatory settings.
• Provide clinical leadership and mentorship to nursing staff.
• Assist physician with tests, procedures and complex treatments.
• Process data and triage patient calls; manage reception and discharge workflows.
• Document medical history, triage patients, and coordinate care with UH departments.
• Administer medications and perform routine treatments; ensure orders are followed.
• Participate in orientation and evaluation of new personnel.
• Educate patients and families about preventive care and treatment options.
• Promote patient safety and report safety concerns promptly.
