Job summary

Fresenius Medical Care is seeking an Outpatient Registered Nurse - RN in Kaukauna, Wisconsin, for an entry-level CAP position with on-the-job training and 10-12 hour shifts. You will work with the End Stage Kidney Disease care team and participate in patient assessment, planning, and treatment within a hospital-like dialysis clinic.

You will be supervised by experienced nurses, perform patient education, assist with hemodialysis, and contribute to quality improvement activities.

Qualifications

• Graduate of an accredited School of Nursing.
• Current state RN licensure.
• CPR/BLS certification.
• Must meet state practice requirements.

Responsibilities

• Provide and coordinate clinically competent care for assigned patients during hemodialysis.
• Perform ongoing assessment, planning, and evaluation of patient responses; document in medical records.
• Administer medications as prescribed and monitor effectiveness.
• Educate patients and families and participate in staff training and quality improvement.
