Job summary

Fresenius Medical Care in Waupaca, WI seeks an entry-level Registered Nurse for the Outpatient CAP 1 program. You will provide and coordinate nephrology care, including assessment, planning, intervention and evaluation for dialysis patients, with opportunities for leadership and teaching within the care team.

Responsibilities include data collection, patient education, medication administration, and contributing to quality improvement efforts.

Qualifications

Graduate of an accredited School of Nursing.
Current state RN licensure.
Current or successful CPR/BLS Certification.
Must meet the practice requirements in the state employed.
Entry level RN with less than 2 years of Nephrology Nursing experience.

Responsibilities

Assess, plan, implement and evaluate care for assigned patients during hemodialysis.
Document patient data and adjust the treatment plan as needed.
Coordinate with nurses and technicians to ensure safe dialysis delivery.
Educate patients and families about treatment options and transplant considerations.
Administer prescribed medications and monitor effectiveness.
Provide leadership and participate in staff training and quality improvement.
