Job summary

Fresenius Medical Care seeks an entry-level Registered Nurse for the Outpatient CAP 1 program. The role provides and coordinates clinically competent care including assessment, planning, intervention and evaluation for an assigned group of patients undergoing hemodialysis.

You will collaborate with RNs, LVN/LPNs and Patient Care Technicians, participate in education and quality-improvement activities, and support transplant discussions as part of the End Stage Kidney Disease team.

Qualifications

• Entry level RN with less than 2 years nephrology nursing experience.
• Chronic/acute hemodialysis experience preferred.
• Graduate of an accredited School of Nursing and CPR/BLS certification required.

Responsibilities

• Provide and coordinate clinically competent care including assessment, planning, intervention and evaluation for an assigned group of patients.
• Collaborate with RN/LPN/PCT staff to deliver safe hemodialysis therapy.
• Document in patient medical records and communicate with team and physicians.
