Job summary

Fresenius Medical Care is seeking an entry-level Registered Nurse for the Outpatient CAP1 program in Wisconsin, assisting with hemofiltration and dialysis-related care. You will assess patients, plan and implement care, and collaborate with the health care team to ensure quality outcomes.

Responsibilities include data collection, education for patients and families, and adherence to policy and regulatory standards. On-site work with potential training and onboarding support.

Qualifications

• Graduate of an accredited School of Nursing.
• Current appropriate state licensure.
• Current or successful completion of CPR BLS Certification.
• Must meet the practice requirements in the state in which employed.

Responsibilities

• Provide and coordinate clinically competent care including assessment, planning, intervention and evaluation.
• Document patient data and adjust treatment plans as needed.
• Educate patients and families on care plans and learning needs.
• Deliver safe and effective hemodialysis therapy with the team.
• Administer medications per prescriptions or approved algorithms.
• Assist with emergency response measures as needed.
• Serve as a resource and participate in staff training and orientation.
