Job summary

MemorialCare Health System is seeking a Rehab Representative at Orange Coast Memorial Medical Center in Fountain Valley, CA. This role provides clerical support to the Outpatient Rehabilitation Department, including medical records, billing, scheduling, and patient registration.

You will navigate EPIC/Cadence, post charges, attach CPT/ICD codes, and communicate with patients and staff. Per Diem status and day shifts offer flexible coverage; prior medical terminology knowledge is preferred.

Qualifications

• Medical terminology preferred.
• High school diploma or GED equivalent preferred.

Responsibilities

• Navigate EPIC/CADENCE for scheduling, billing, and referrals.
• Post charges and assign CPT codes; perform billing reconciliation.
• Attach CPT and ICD codes to authorizations or referrals.
• Provide polite, proactive communication with patients and staff.
• Maintain inventory and order supplies as needed.
• Complete department operations accurately and on time.
• Ensure timely registration and scheduling processes.
