Golden Bear Physical Therapy is seeking an Outpatient Physical Therapist Assistant to join our team. The PTA will support the physical therapists with therapeutic exercises, treatment planning, and patient education in an outpatient orthopedic setting.

Qualificações

• Associate Degree as Physical Therapy Assistant from an accredited institution.
• Current state licensure or eligibility for licensure as a PTA.
• Previous outpatient experience preferred but not required.
• Ability to work collaboratively in a team-oriented environment.
• Commitment to providing exceptional patient care.

Responsabilidades

• Patient FollowUp: Conduct therapeutic exercises and modalities as instructed by the PT.
• Treatment Planning: Assist PTs in developing and implementing patient plans.
• Therapeutic Interventions: Implement manual therapy, exercise prescriptions, modalities, and patient education.
• Documentation: Monitor and document patient progress using relevant systems and report changes to the PT.
• Patient Education: Educate patients and families on exercises, pain management techniques, and care plans.
• Professional Atmosphere: Work with healthcare team to ensure optimal patient care and safety.
