Job summary

Golden Bear Physical Therapy is seeking a dedicated Outpatient Physical Therapist Assistant to join our team. You will support licensed therapists by performing therapeutic exercises, implementing treatment plans, and documenting patient progress in our clinical setting.

Qualifications

• Associate Degree as Physical Therapy Assistant from accredited institution.
• Current state licensure or eligibility for licensure as a Physical Therapist Assistant.
• Previous outpatient experience preferred but not required.
• Ability to work collaboratively in a team-oriented environment.
• Commitment to providing exceptional patient care.

Responsibilities

• Follow Up with patients; conduct therapeutic exercises and modalities as instructed by the physical therapist.
• Assist physical therapists in developing and implementing patient treatment plans.
• Implement various therapeutic techniques, including manual therapy, exercise prescriptions, modalities, and patient education.
• Document patient progress using the system; monitor and document changes during treatment sessions.
• Educate patients and families on exercises, pain management techniques, and care plans.
• Work collaboratively with the healthcare team to ensure optimal patient care and safety.
