Metro Physical & Aquatic Therapy in New York seeks a motivated Physical Therapist Assistant (PTA) for a full-time, on-site role. You will implement the Plan of Care under supervision, guide patients through exercises, and document progress in the EMR.

Qualified candidates hold an active NY PTA license, hands-on experience with therapeutic exercises and modalities, and strong communication and instructional skills.

Qualifications

• Active NY PTA license required.
• Hands-on experience with therapeutic exercises, functional training and physical modalities.
• Strong communication and ability to instruct patients effectively.

Responsibilities

• Assist PT in delivering care per Plan of Care.
• Document patient progress in the EMR.
• Instruct and counsel patients on exercises and recovery.
• Maintain safety and confidentiality in the clinical environment.
• Collaborate with supervising PT and staff to optimize outcomes.
