Metro Physical & Aquatic Therapy is seeking a motivated, compassionate Physical Therapist Assistant (PTA) for a full-time position in New York. You will support patient care under the supervision of a Physical Therapist, implement personalized plans, and contribute to a collaborative, growth-focused team.

Formación

• Licensed Physical Therapy Assistant in NY (PTA).
• Hands-on experience with therapeutic exercises, functional training, physical modalities.
• Ability to communicate and instruct effectively.
• Ability to delegate appropriate support care to non-licensed staff and train them.

Responsabilidades

• Active participation in patient care; notify supervising PT of patient changes.
• Follow Plan of Care established by PT and state guidelines.
• Document EMR notes under supervision.
• Educate patients on exercises and recovery.
• Ensure safety and confidentiality of patient information.
• Maintain clean, safe work environment; comply with regulations.
• Support PT with documentation and patient needs as required.
