Metro Physical & Aquatic Therapy in New York is seeking a motivated Physical Therapist Assistant (PTA) for a full-time role. You will work under a supervising Physical Therapist to deliver personalized treatment plans, guide patients through therapeutic exercises, and support patient progress in a state-of-the-art facility.

Qualifications

• NY PTA license
• Hands-on experience with therapeutic exercises and modalities
• Strong communication and instruction abilities
• Ability to delegate appropriate support care to non-licensed staff

Responsabilités

• Actively participates in patient care under supervision of a Physical Therapist
• Follows Plan of Care and state practice guidelines
• Instructs and counsels patients in exercises
• Completes EMR documentation and daily notes
• Assists with patient education on equipment and routines
• Maintains confidentiality and safety in the clinic
• Supports continuous quality improvement and teamwork
• Escalates issues to PT as needed
