Metro Physical & Aquatic Therapy in New York seeks a motivated, compassionate FULL TIME Physical Therapist Assistant to support personalized patient care. You will collaborate with PTs, mentor staff, and contribute to a modern clinic environment with mentoring and AI-assisted documentation.

All experience levels are welcome; new graduates will be trained. We offer mentorship, leadership development, and incentive-based earning potential in a growing multidisciplinary practice.

Competenze

• Licensed Physical Therapist Assistant (New York) with active licensure.
• Hands-on experience with therapeutic exercises, functional training and physical modalities.
• Ability to communicate and instruct effectively.
• Ability to delegate appropriate support care to non-licensed staff and serve as a resource in their training.

Mansioni

• Actively participates in patient care, notifying the supervising Physical Therapist of matters concerning the patient's condition.
• Follows the Plan of Care established by the Physical Therapist and practices within state practice guidelines.
• Exhibits sound judgement, care, professionalism and skill in the performance of duties.
• Instructs and counsels patients effectively in exercises and recovery.
• Identifies patient’s needs and shows compassion and caring.
• Conveys potential modifications ensuring patient’s progress, safety and comfort to the Physical Therapist.
• Completes documentation in the EMR to support delivery of physical therapy services.
• Under direct supervision of and with co-signature by a PT, records daily notes.
• Provides information to patients by answering questions and requests.
