Metro Physical & Aquatic Therapy is seeking a motivated Full Time Physical Therapist Assistant in New York to join our multidisciplinary team. You will work under a supervising Physical Therapist to implement personalized treatment plans, document progress, and educate patients on exercises and home programs.

Competenze

• Must hold current NY PTA license.
• Hands-on experience with therapeutic exercises and functional training.
• Excellent communication and instructional skills.
• Ability to supervise and delegate tasks to non-licensed staff.

Mansioni

• Actively participates in patient care under the supervising Physical Therapist.
• Follow the Plan of Care and state practice guidelines.
• Instruct and counsel patients in exercises and recovery.
• Record daily notes in the EMR under supervision.
• Educate patients on equipment and routines.
• Maintain patient confidentiality and a clean work environment.
• Support the PT and contribute to a positive clinic culture.
