Sun Recruiting, Inc. is seeking a qualified Physical Therapist Assistant for an outpatient setting in Montour Falls, NY.

You will provide skilled therapy under the supervision of a licensed Physical Therapist, implement individualized treatment plans, and help patients perform therapeutic exercises and mobility activities. The role requires NY PTA licensure, CPR certification, and good communication within a multidisciplinary team.

Qualifications

• Associate's degree from an accredited PTA program.
• Current NY State PTA license or eligibility.
• Current CPR Certification.
• Annual mandatory safety in-services and HealthStream trainings.
• Prior outpatient/clinical experience preferred; new grads considered.

Responsabilités

• Provide skilled PT treatment under supervision of a licensed PT.
• Assist with implementing individualized treatment plans.
• Instruct and assist patients with therapeutic exercises and gait/balance training.
• Assist with use of assistive devices and modalities as directed.
• Document patient responses and progress; report changes to PT.
• Educate patients and caregivers on exercises and home programs.
• Participate in discharge planning and follow-up instructions.
