Job summary

The Registered Nurse for Outpatient Psychiatry Services at Levindale Hebrew Geriatric Center in Baltimore, MD, provides direct clinical patient care under the direction of the unit manager. The role assesses, plans, implements age-appropriate nursing care for assigned patients per shift and supervises staff delivering delegated care.

The RN supports the CNO to ensure high-quality, safe nursing care, staff competency, and resource management.

Qualifications

• Requires Maryland Registered Nurse license or eligibility for Maryland licensure.
• American Heart Association Basic Life Support (BLS) CPR required.
• Experience: Less than one year.

Responsibilities

• Clinical Practice - assesses, plans, and delivers direct age-appropriate nursing care per shift.
• Collaboration - involves input from multiple sources to support family and community.
• Facilitator Of Learning - acts as an educator to address learning needs of staff and patients.
• Clinical Inquiry - applies evidence-based practice and current knowledge to care decisions.
