The Registered Nurse for Outpatient Psychiatry Services at Levindale Hebrew Geriatric Center in Baltimore, MD, provides direct clinical patient care under the direction of the unit manager. The role assesses, plans, implements age-appropriate nursing care for assigned patients per shift and supervises staff delivering delegated care.

The RN supports the CNO to ensure high-quality, safe nursing care, staff competency, and resource management.

Competenze

• Requires Maryland Registered Nurse license or eligibility for Maryland licensure.
• American Heart Association Basic Life Support (BLS) CPR required.
• Experience: Less than one year.

About the Role

The Registered Nurse for Outpatient Psychiatry Services at Levindale Specialty Hospital is Baltimore, MD, under the direction of the unit manager, provides direct clinical patient care. The role will assume responsibility for assessing, planning, implementing direct age-appropriate clinical care to assigned patients on a per shift basis, and unit level. The role is responsible for supervision of staff to which appropriate care is delegated. The role is accountable to support CNO to ensure high quality, safe and appropriate nursing care, competency of clinical staff, and appropriate resource management related to patient care.

Responsibilities

Clinical Practice - Characterizes nurse's ability to utilize clinical reasoning and decision making, use of resources, synthesis thinking, and nursing skills acquired through situational learning and evidence-based practice.

Collaboration - Characterizes nurse's ability to involve and incorporate input from multiple sources to benefit family and community.

Facilitator Of Learning - Characterizes the nurse as a creative educator with the ability to address individual and collective intellectual and psychomotor needs.

Clinical Inquiry - Characterizes nurse's ability to utilize new knowledge, innovative reasoning, and improvement, as well as to make thoughtful decisions based on contemporary evidence and research.

$34.33 to $53.96 Based On Experience
