Job summary

Hire Consulting Services seeks a Psychiatrist for outpatient care in East Chicago, IN. This full-time, permanent role offers a collaborative, tech-forward environment with EMR integration and a focus on sustainable work-life balance.

Responsibilities include comprehensive evaluations, psychotropic management, and psychotherapy in coordination with medical and behavioral health teams. Indiana license and ABPN eligibility are required; H-1B eligibility is noted in the posting.

Qualifications

• Board-certified or board-eligible by the ABPN with a plan for certification within a specified timeframe.
• Possession of or eligibility for an unrestricted Indiana Medical License and CSR/DEA registration.
• Experience with or aptitude for EPIC EMR and AI-assisted documentation tools.
• Strong communication skills and proficiency with EMR.

Responsibilities

• Perform comprehensive psychiatric evaluations to develop individualized treatment plans.
• Prescribe and monitor psychotropic medications and evaluate efficacy and side effects.
• Utilize psychotherapy with pharmacology to manage mental health conditions.
• Collaborate with primary care, social work, and nursing to provide integrated care.
• Maintain accurate EMR and participate in quality reviews to enhance patient safety.
