Job summary
Kingfisher Recruiting is seeking a Psychiatrist - Outpatient in East Chicago, IN. This full-time, permanent role offers a clinician‑friendly, tech-forward environment with a strong focus on work‑life balance.

Qualifications
- ABPN board certification or eligibility with plan to certify within a specified timeframe
- Unrestricted Indiana medical license and CSR/DEA registration
- Experience with or aptitude for EPIC EMR and AI-assisted documentation tools
- Strong communication skills and proficiency with Electronic Medical Records (EMR)
Responsibilities
- Perform comprehensive psychiatric evaluations and develop individualized treatment plans
- Prescribe and monitor psychotropic medications and evaluate efficacy/side effects
- Use psychotherapeutic methods alongside pharmacology to manage mental health conditions
- Partner with primary care, social work, and nursing teams for integrated behavioral health support
- Maintain accurate EMR and participate in quality reviews to enhance patient safety
