United Future in East Chicago, IN, seeks a Psychiatrist - Outpatient for a full-time, permanent role. Schedule is Monday–Friday with weekend/holiday rounding (1:8 or better).

You will conduct comprehensive evaluations, prescribe medications, and collaborate with care teams to deliver integrated behavioral health. Proficiency in EPIC EMR is preferred; ABPN certification and Indiana license required. The company offers a competitive MGMA-style package with substantial CME and licensure support.

Qualifications

• Board Certified or Board Eligible by ABPN, with plan for certification within a specified timeframe.
• Possession of or eligibility for an unrestricted Indiana Medical License and CSR/DEA registration.
• Experience with EPIC EMR or aptitude for AI-assisted documentation tools.
• Strong communication skills and proficiency with EMR systems.

Responsibilities

• Perform comprehensive psychiatric evaluations and diagnostic interviews to develop treatment plans.
• Prescribe and monitor psychotropic medications, evaluating efficacy and side effects.
• Utilize psychotherapeutic methods alongside pharmacological treatments for mental health conditions.
• Coordinate with primary care, social work, and nursing teams for integrated behavioral health.
• Maintain accurate EMR and participate in clinical quality reviews to enhance patient safety.
