Job summary

Carle Health is seeking a Physical Therapist to plan and administer treatment plans that alleviate pain, restore function, and promote overall fitness for patients. You will serve as a clinical resource for staff and students, designing plans of care, and educating patients and caregivers.

The role requires a current Physical Therapist license in Illinois, BLS certification within 30 days, and experience in outpatient orthopedic settings.

Qualifications

• Licensed Physical Therapist (PT) in IL per IDFPR with active license.
• Bachelor's Degree in Physical Therapy.
• Experience in outpatient orthopedic settings.

Responsibilities

• Plans and administers physical therapy treatment plans to alleviate pain, restore function, prevent disabilities, and promote health.
• Performs patient transfers using safe body mechanics and ensures dignity and respect for patients.
• Designs an appropriate plan of care with goals, outcomes, and discharge plan.
• Adjusts care based on patient response and evidence.
• Educates patients, families, and other health care providers using effective teaching methods.
• Communicates with the medical team and documents care per standards.
• Acts as a clinical instructor when assigned and participates in team and department activities.
