Job summary

Carle Health is seeking a licensed Physical Therapist to plan and administer PT treatments to alleviate pain, restore function, and promote overall health. The role serves as a clinical resource and mentor to staff and students, with responsibilities spanning plan-of-care design, patient education, and collaboration with the medical team.

Qualified candidates hold a Bachelor's in Physical Therapy and current PT licensure; outpatient orthopedic experience is preferred.

Qualifications

• Licensed PT with IDFPR licensure; BLS certification within 30 days (AHA).
• Bachelor's degree in Physical Therapy required.
• Experience in outpatient orthopedic settings preferred.

Responsibilities

• Demonstrates safe patient transfers and body mechanics.
• Designs and adjusts plan of care with goals, outcomes, and discharge.
• Educates patients and caregivers using effective teaching methods.
• Evaluates clinical findings to determine diagnoses and outcomes.
• Performs examinations and selects appropriate assessment methods.
• Monitors care delivered by support personnel and provides feedback.
• Communicates with the medical team and documents per standards.
