• Basic Life Support (BLS) certification within 30 days (AHA).

• Designs an appropriate plan of care integrating goals, treatment, outcomes, and discharge plan.
• Educates patients, families, caregivers and other health care providers using effective teaching methods.
• Performs patient transfers with safe body mechanics and monitors care delivered by support staff.
• Communicates with the medical team and performs documentation according to department standards.
