Job Opportunity: Outpatient Physical Therapist (PT) at BAYADA Home Health Care

BAYADA Home Health Care is seeking an experienced Outpatient Physical Therapist (PT) for a full-time position serving Howard County, Maryland. This role involves providing rehabilitative care to seniors within 1-2 communities, offering home health services without extensive commuting.

Responsibilities include:

1. Making home visits to clients in designated areas.
2. Performing diagnostic tests such as mobility assessments, balance testing, and safety evaluations.
3. Developing and implementing individualized care plans, including manual therapy, gait training, and balance interventions.
4. Assessing and updating care plans, collaborating with nursing staff as needed.
5. Educating clients and families on rehabilitative activities to promote health and independence.
6. Documenting care and interventions accurately using electronic tablets.

Qualifications:

1. Current Maryland Physical Therapist (PT) license.
2. At least one year of recent PT experience.
3. Graduation from an accredited PT program.
4. Ability to work independently and manage time effectively.
5. Strong interpersonal and organizational skills.
6. Proficiency in computer skills; experience with EMR preferred.
