Job summary

St. Luke's University Health Network is seeking a Physical Therapist to evaluate and treat patients in an outpatient setting. The role focuses on designing individualized plans to maximize function and health outcomes, while educating patients and families on prevention and self-management.

Applicants must hold a Doctoral, Masters, or Bachelors in Physical Therapy, be CPR/BLS certified, and possess an active PT license in PA or NJ, with ongoing professional development encouraged.

Qualifications

• Doctoral degree or equivalent in physical therapy from an accredited program.
• CPR/BLS certification is required or obtained within 30 days of hire.
• Current state PT license in PA or NJ, based on work location.

Responsibilities

• Performs comprehensive initial evaluations and develops a treatment plan to improve movement and reduce pain.
• Provides skilled interventions tailored to patient needs using appropriate techniques and equipment.
• Collaborates with patients to set short- and long-term goals.
• Communicates effectively with patients, families and other health care providers.
• Manages patient progress, documents outcomes, and updates prognosis and care plan.
• Supervises PT assistants and students as assigned.

Education

Doctoral Degree, Masters or Bachelor’s degree in Physical Therapy

BLS certification

Current Pennsylvania or New Jersey Physical Therapist license
