Job summary

St. Luke's University Health Network is seeking a Physical Therapist to evaluate, diagnose, and manage patients with physical impairments, designing individualized treatment plans to maximize function.

You will educate patients and families, collaborate with a multidisciplinary team, and supervise PTAs and students as part of a comprehensive outpatient program. Requirements include licensure in PA or NJ (based on location), BLS/CPR, and at least one year of outpatient experience.

Qualifications

• Doctoral degree, masters or bachelor’s degree from an accredited physical therapy program or physical therapy certificate.
• Current Physical Therapist license in Pennsylvania or New Jersey, depending on work location.
• BLS/CPR certification required or to be obtained within 30 days of hire.
• Minimum one year of outpatient physical therapy experience.

Responsibilities

• Perform comprehensive initial evaluations and develop a treatment plan to improve mobility and reduce pain.
• Provide skilled interventions tailored to patient needs using appropriate techniques and equipment.
• Collaborate with patients to set short- and long-term goals and educate families on prognosis and care options.
• Document progress, maintain medical records, and bill for services; supervise PTAs and students as assigned.
• Participate in quality improvement, attend meetings, and ensure confidentiality and safety compliance.
