Job summary

St. Luke's University Health Network in Bethlehem, PA seeks a Physical Therapist to evaluate and manage outpatient patients, designing individualized plans to maximize function and educate patients and families.

You will collaborate with the care team, supervise PTAs and students, maintain records, and participate in quality initiatives. Licensure in PA or NJ, BLS/CPR, and 1+ year outpatient experience are required.

Qualifications

• Doctoral degree or equivalent in physical therapy.
• BLS certification (AHA) required or to be obtained within 30 days of hire.
• Current PT license in PA or NJ depending on work location.
• CPR certification required.

Responsibilities

• Performs comprehensive initial evaluations and develops a treatment plan to improve movement, reduce pain, restore function or prevent disability.
• Provides skilled interventions tailored to patient needs using appropriate techniques and equipment.
• Collaborates with patients to set short- and long-term goals.
• Maintains patient records, documents progress and communicates with families and care teams.
• Supervises PTAs and PT/ PTA students as assigned.
• Participates in quality improvement and professional development activities.

Education

Doctoral Degree, Masters or Bachelor’s degree from an accredited physical therapy program

Basic Life Support (BLS) certification from the American Heart Association or equivalent

Current Physical Therapist license in the State of Pennsylvania or New Jersey

CPR certification
