Job summary

Ascension St Vincent Hospital Indianapolis in Indianapolis, IN is seeking a Full-time Pharmacy Technician to support the hospital's pharmacy operations. You will refill and maintain automated dispensing systems, prepare orders, and manage inventory to ensure accuracy and efficiency.

Additional duties include repackaging bulk medications, receiving and storing supplies, and serving as a liaison between the pharmacy, patients, and health professionals to provide information as needed.

Qualifications

  • Licensure/certification in pharmacy required or in training prior to hire/date.
  • Educational or certification options accepted in lieu of formal degree.
  • Pharmacy technician roles requiring license/certification may be substituted where applicable.

What minimum requirements you’ll need

Licensure / Certification / Registration:

One or more of the following required:

  • In Training Pharmacy Tech obtained prior to hire date or job transfer date.

  • Licensed Pharmacy Tech credentialed from the Indiana Board Of Pharmacy obtained prior to hire date or job transfer date.

  • Pharmacy Intern obtained prior to hire date or job transfer date.

One or more of the following preferred:

  • Licensed Pharmacy Tech credentialed from the Pharmacy Technician Certification Board (PTCB).

  • Pharmacy Tech credentialed from the National Healthcareer Association.

Education:

  • High School diploma equivalency OR 1 year of applicable cumulative job specific experience required.

  • Note: Required professional licensure/certification can be used in lieu of education or experience,if applicable.
