Job summary

Ascension is seeking a Pharmacy Technician in Indianapolis, IN for a full-time day shift at Ascension St Vincent Hospital Indianapolis. You will refill automated dispensing systems, prepare orders, manage inventory, repackage bulk meds, and coordinate with patients and health professionals to ensure accurate information flow.

Minimum requirements include in-training tech status or Indiana licensure, with licensure/certification prior to hire or transfer, and a path toward professional growth

Qualifications

• High School diploma equivalency or 1 year of related experience.
• In Training Pharmacy Tech before hire/transfer date.
• Licensed Pharmacy Tech credentialed by Indiana Board before hire/transfer date.
• Pharmacy Intern before hire/transfer date.

• Licensed Pharmacy Tech credentialed from the Indiana Board Of Pharmacy obtained prior to hire date or job transfer date.
• Pharmacy Intern obtained prior to hire date or job transfer date.

One or More Of The Following Preferred

• Licensed Pharmacy Tech credentialed from the Pharmacy Technician Certification Board (PTCB).
• Pharmacy Tech credentialed from the National Healthcareer Association.

Education

• High School diploma equivalency OR 1 year of applicable cumulative job specific experience required.
  • Note: Required professional licensure/certification can be used in lieu of education or experience, if applicable.
