Ascension is seeking a Pharmacy Technician to support the Ascension Embedded Pharmacy team in a fully remote capacity. The role focuses on helping patients access medications by identifying financial needs and connecting them with assistance programs.

Responsibilities include coordinating with team members on account management, registering patients for programs, reading and translating medication scripts, and ensuring delivery with manufacturers.

Qualifications

• High School diploma equivalency or 1 year of applicable job-specific experience required.
• Preferred credentials: Pharmacy Tech and PTCB credentials.

What minimum requirements you’ll need

Licensure / Certification / Registration

• Required Credential(s):
  • None Required.
• Preferred Credential(s):
  • Pharmacy Tech.
  • Pharmacy Tech credentialed from the National Healthcareer Association.
  • Pharmacy Tech credentialed from the Pharmacy Technician Certification Board (PTCB).

Education

• High School diploma equivalency OR 1 year of applicable cumulative job specific experience required. *Note: Required professional licensure/certification can be used in lieu of education or experience, if applicable.
