Job summary

Intermountain Health at St. Mary’s Regional Hospital in Grand Junction, Colorado, is launching a new outpatient pharmacy.

We’re seeking a dedicated Outpatient Pharmacy Technician to help build workflows, support pharmacists, and deliver patient-centered care in a growing program. This part-time role (20 hours weekly, Mon–Fri) offers opportunities to shape operations, collaborate with the pharmacy team, and advance in a retail-style setting with a strong emphasis on safety and quality.

Qualifications

• High School or equivalent required.
• Current pharmacy technician certification and/or license applicable to state of practice.
• Knowledge of state and federal regulations regarding pharmacy practice and drug distribution.
• Lapses may result in disciplinary action per hiring discretion.

Responsibilities

• Assist pharmacist in collecting patient information and maintaining records.
• Prepare medication orders for dispensing and assist in compounding as needed.
• Ensure proper inventory management and controlled substance accountability.
• Communicate with caregivers and participate in quality and patient safety initiatives.
