Job summary

Intermountain Health is launching a new outpatient pharmacy at St. Mary’s Regional Hospital in Grand Junction, Colorado. We seek an Outpatient Pharmacy Technician to help build workflows, coordinate medication access, and support patients from day one.

You will work with pharmacists and technicians to prepare prescriptions, ensure safe dispensing, and contribute to patient care experiences in a growing program. Retail experience valued.

Qualifications

• High School or equivalent is required.
• Current pharmacy technician certification and/or license applicable to state of practice.
• Knowledge of state and federal regulations and statutes regarding pharmacy practice and distribution of drugs.
• Lapses may result in disciplinary action up to termination.

Responsibilities

• Assist the pharmacist in collecting patient information and maintaining records.
• Prepare medication orders for dispensing and compound medications as appropriate.
• Ensure supervision and accuracy checks by pharmacists and technicians.
• Maintain medication supplies and monitor inventories and 340B/Charging management.
• Communicate with caregivers and participate in quality and patient safety initiatives.
