Job summary

Intermountain Health is launching an outpatient pharmacy at St. Mary’s Regional Hospital in Grand Junction, CO. The part-time Pharmacy Technician will help build workflows, prepare prescriptions, and support patients while collaborating with pharmacists to ensure high-quality care.

Hours are 20 per week, retail-style environment, with potential for growth as the program expands. Strong communication and reliability are essential in this role.

Qualifications

• High School diploma or equivalent is required.
• Current pharmacy technician certification and/or license applicable to state of practice.
• Knowledge of state and federal regulations governing pharmacy practice.
• No lapse in license may result in disciplinary action at hire.

Responsibilities

• Support the pharmacist in dispensing medications and preparing orders.
• Coordinate medication access and assist patients throughout their care.
• Maintain accurate records and participate in safety and quality initiatives.
• Assist with workflow development as part of the outpatient launch.
• Collaborate with pharmacists and technicians to ensure efficient operations.
