Job summary

Intermountain Health is launching a new outpatient pharmacy at St. Mary’s Regional Hospital in Grand Junction, Colorado. We seek a part-time Pharmacy Technician to support daily operations, work with pharmacists and technicians, and help establish workflows and patient care experiences for a growing program.

Ideal candidates will have retail pharmacy experience and a commitment to patient care. This role offers weekend-free scheduling with weekday coverage, contributing to a meaningful care

Qualifications

• High School or equivalent required.
• Current pharmacy technician certification and/or license for state of practice required.
• Knowledge of state and federal pharmacy regulations highly preferred.

Responsibilities

• Assist pharmacist in collecting patient information and maintaining records.
• Prepare medication orders, perform calculations, and assist in compounding as allowed.
• Maintain inventory and monitor controlled substances for security and accuracy.
• Communicate with caregivers and participate in quality and patient safety initiatives.
• Support pharmacy services across locations (acute, ambulatory, etc.).
