Job summary

Mercyhealth is seeking a Pharmacy Leadership professional to oversee a dynamic retail operation focused on patient care, customer service, and financial performance. You will empower staff, collaborate with the Lead Pharmacist, and ensure compliance while pursuing opportunities for growth and new business.

The role emphasizes budgeting, policy implementation, and cross-functional coordination with hospital pharmacy teams to deliver exceptional service.

Qualifications

• Graduate of an accredited school of pharmacy.
• Minimum of 3 years of retail pharmacy experience as a practicing pharmacist.
• Licensed or eligible for licensure to practice pharmacy in Wisconsin and Illinois.

Responsibilities

• Organizes retail pharmacy activities to ensure quality service.
• Interviews, hires, orients schedules; disciplines and counsels staff.
• Works with Lead Pharmacist on annual evaluations of technicians and cashiers.
• Encourages ongoing education and tracks said for all staff.
• Compiles daily financial data for monthly reporting to accounting; monitors financial performance.
• Oversees departmental fiscal planning, purchasing of supplies and budgeting.
• Implements new retail pharmacy startups and business expansion as needed.
• Develops and implements policies and procedures to ensure regulatory compliance.
